About the organisation
The international charity Helping wing was established in 2014. Its founder is retired Colonel Algis Šimoniūtis. "Helping Wing" has grown and expanded over the past 8 years, attracted donors, and is now a powerful organization transporting humanitarian aid to and from Ukraine, bringing people fleeing the war.
Purpose
We send trucks and buses with humanitarian aid to Ukraine and bring Ukrainian asylum seekers from the war-torn country. We have trusted contacts in Ukraine, allowing us to reach the areas and people most in need. Our humanitarian aid includes medicines, medical supplies (bandages, disinfectants, tourniquets, first aid kits, portable surgical kits), non-perishable food, hygiene products, power generators, and security.
